Message 44: A good word of encouragement from Mark Chen for messengers, watchmen and the bride.

-- Mark Chen 1-5-2015

A good word of encouragement from Mark Chen for messengers, watchmen and the bride. This is just new a few minutes ago.

"Dear brothers, what you have shared about your experiences does not surprise me, though I'm sorry that you guys have it rough with the criticisms. Yes, many among the established worldwide church will look upon us with disdain and despise God's prophets, messengers and watchmen today. The simple reason is because they are not walking in step with the Spirit, but are provoking those who are the chosen saints because of jealousy, envy and strife (Galatians 5:25-26).

If they were truly walking in step with God's Spirit, there's no way that they will remain ignorant to these messages and warnings from God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Rev 19.10b).

Do not be discouraged, dear brothers, but persevere in doing what God has called you to do as His watchmen on the wall (Ezekiel 33), so that your conscience is clear before the Lord, and you will not have blood on your hands for not sounding the warning trumpet. Remember, in the same way did they persecute the prophets of old, so rejoice, for blessed are you when people persecute you and say all kinds of evil thing about you, for great is your reward in heaven! (Matt 5:11-12)

Let us pray for those who remain in spiritual slumber, that the Lord will rouse them from their comatose state and open their eyes to see and their ears to hear His truth. I know that God will judge His house first (1 Peter 4 :17), and I believe a number of these stubbornly blind and deaf church leaders will have their lamp stand taken out of the Lord's presence (Revelation 2:4-5). They will die in their continual rebellion against God Almighty, if they stubbornly refuse to heed the Lord's warning to repent in His love (Rev 3:19)

Concerning what to do in the face of the coming calamities, I urge all of us to listen attentively to the Holy Spirit's prompting. Do not attempt to figure out a plan of action solely on humand wisdom, but seek God's Will in every situation. It may be that God will send His holy angels to guide us to places of safety prepared for us, but always remember to test the spirits even then (1 John 4:1-3). Do not let your guard down, or the enemy will infiltrate you more easily with his deception (2 Cor 11:14).

Once you are certain that God has revealed the plan of action to you, please obey and not delay. I say this to myself as well. Remember God's warning to us in 1 Samuel 15:22, that obedience is better than sacrifice. We may be tempted to trust our own fallen instincts, and follow our own wisdom but Proverbs 16:25 tells us that there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Also, we are reminded by the Psalmist in Psalm 127:1 that unless the Lord builds the house, the workers labour in vain; unless the Lord protects the city, the watchmen gurad it in vain."

Shalom!
